As a data-driven teacher leader, I have taken to using student performance data to ensure a generalized improved performance. My strategies include collecting data on all student assessments from the beginning of the academic year. Each assessment is separated according to the subject and various student performance in different subjects are recorded. From the information obtained, I have been able to identify different areas which influence student performance using baseline data from the previous class (Bambrick-Santoyo, 2010). The sample student performance data is then categorized into areas of difficulty, strong areas, areas where the majority of the students finds it challenging and weak areas where the overall performance is poor. The data are then used in a PLC session where teacher leaders come up with strategies to improve on the weak student areas. These strategies are then discussed with students before implementation to evaluate their effectiveness in improving student
