I started my life journey as a Kennedy Democrat like my parents. I joined the military at the age of twenty, and that is when I began to see the differences between the political parties. When I was twenty-five, I took an American Government class with a professor who taught without political biases and stereotyping. I learned a lot about my own beliefs about taxes, gun control, entitlements, and abortion. I am not a bigot, I am not an idiot, I am not crazy, I am not a hater, I do not want poor people to die, and I am not rich. I believe if a woman wants an abortion, it is her right and it is not my right to judge. I believe in limited government. I think we should help our poor, disable, disenfranchised, and our vulnerable, but I do not believe American taxpayer money should support countries who hate our way of life and chant death to America. When traveling abroad, I must follow other countries protocol for entrance. Foreigners who come into our country should not ignore our laws.
