Question: Describe the food staples of Central America.
Answer: The major food staples for Central America consist of: beans, corn French bread, soups and stews, fruits and vegetables, and coffee. Most of these foods and drink are eaten regularly in Central America from day to day. Beans and rice are generally prepared together but rice is not generally as common as in the Asian culture. The corn is eaten in the form of tortilla with almost every meal. Corn tortillas are generally filled and made into a burrito of some sort with many different types of beans and meat. French bread was introduced from Mexico and is eaten in the form of small rolls and sometimes filled with turkey and pickled vegetables in some countries. Soups and stews include
