Descartes' dualism has become as the theoretical basis of patient materialization and reductionism. Mark Sullivan stated that Descartes' dualism such that split relationship between physical and psychological issues[13]. S. Kay Toombs think Descartes's body is not fully materialized paradigm [14]201. Oliver Sacks noted that medicine has shifted focus from understanding and treatment of sick people to the understanding and treatment of diseases [15]8. Sacks considered for medical purposes in its holistic treatment of patients, it must learn to listen to the patient, understand the complexities of personal experience, meanwhile continue the treatment of psychological and physiological aspects of the disease. The goal of medicine should be more than just to prevent the disease, but also to rebuild the patient affected by the disease and the identity of self-awareness.
