Throughout all of Derrick Thomas’ 11 year career he never won a super bowl. He is considered by many to be one of the best NFL players to never win a super bowl. He stands on that list with many greats such as Sterling Sharpe. Thomas holds many team records for the Chiefs. Records on that list include the most sacks, forced fumbles, and career safeties.
In the 1990 season in a game against the Seahawks, Thomas did something that has never happened before and still hasn’t been beaten. He sacked Dave Krieg 7 times in one game.
