Depression is a very typical mental disorder. About 350 million people of all ages around the world suffer from it. Women are more likely to have it than men, but for both men and women the most common age they can get depression is 25-44 years of age. Depression is caused by a mixture of biological, psychological, and social factors. This is why people get depressed.
