For my Pre-AP English class, I was asked to write a paper on something that affected high school students. The topic I chose was depression. I chose this topic because it's not something that is openly talked about. Many students suffer depression in silence so I wanted to find ways to help them, and educate their friends and family members so they know how to help. I am very proud of this paper because I was able to educate myself on ways to help people, and I got an A on it, which was an added bonus.
