INTRODUCTION
Dental camp
As a dentist, I believe oral health is equally important as overall health. Mouth act as window for the passage of everything that goes in to stomach and often serving as a vantage point for detecting the early signs and symptoms of many systemic disease. So, it is very important to do routine checkups for the better health status of an individual.
MY SMILE clinic is committed to provide our patients with quality and comprehensive dental care treatment. Clinic was established on 2010 April 18 with a motive of providing both economical and best treatment. During this 8 years we made every patient feel comfortable and satisfied in all aspect. Camp consists of experienced dental team who can examine, treat and provide awareness to the people. These camps provide greater scope for a research and can understand about the endemic lesions prevail in different communities. Dental camps always have an ambulance support for emergency service. Main disadvantage is that, proper diagnosis cannot be possible because of lack of proper diagnostic setup. Sterilization will be a major problem because huge rush is expected for dental camps and because of lack of electricity and other facilities for sterilization. This can lead to disease spread among patients.

SMART GOALS

• To increase educating people about the importance of oral health and hygiene especially children’s in primary schools by 30% by the end of December2018.
• To create awareness for 2000 people about the habits that ruin health of an individual by the end of December 2018.
• To reach out 1000 people who are not accessible to dental treatment and provide them with free dental care by the end of 2018.
• To increase the coverage of dental camps by 25% by the end of December2018.
KEY MESSAGES
• Oral health is equally important as overall health so, we encourage everyone to participate in the dental camp.
• Visiting dentist twice a year for routine checkups is mandatory for good oral hygiene.

Travel expense – $300 per day
Camp arrangements-$ 400 per day
Other expense- $200 Dec 2018 Determined by number of people visiting the camp.

• For conducting a camp, full details about the camp must be submitted to the municipal government and must get sanction for the dental camp.
• Arrange a stall for conducting dental camp with all the facilities. Details regarding camp should be submitted to near by officials including police station, hospitals and government offices to tackle any emergencies if happened.
• Informing people about the camp through newsletters, pamphlets, notices 5 days prior to the dental camp with all details about the camp. Also providing advertisements on social medias like Facebook, twitter.
• Proper planning and scheduling of dental team must be done and circulate to each and everyone who participate in the dental camp.
• After the dental camp, a meeting will be conducted to get the feedback about the camp among dental team.
• Next dental camp agenda will be discussed among dental team and interns are assigned to get feedback from the patients after 15 days.
