As a lead, it’s imperative to demonstrate effective communication skills, it builds relationships and also create collaborative atmosphere. You regularly seek out staff and let them know that you are available for questions or concerns. You are open and thorough in explaining issues to your team members and customers. You communicate with staff and provide them valuable feedback to improve and develop their skills and performance. I would like to emphasis, it’s important to communicate with your co-lead, and supervisor(s) throughout the day for workload updates and any other issues that may arise. By communicating and sharing information with your co-lead, peers and supervisor(s), it demonstrates a team spirit, and enables you to complete tasks
