Types of Delivery Mechanisms
There are many different types of delivery mechanisms, all different, but all were developed to help provide a delivery of a product from one source to another source. I have talked with my assistant principal, Mr. Shirk, about the different delivery mechanisms that are being used throughout our school. We talked about how teachers deliver their message to their students. How students deliver their message to their teachers. Parents, administrators, secretaries, food personal, custodians and maintenance workers all use different delivery mechanisms. The way that things are delivered is different. We have teachers that use google classroom to help deliver the information to the students (J. Shirk, personal communication, May 31, 2016). We have a lot of teacher that have begun to utilize google classroom. This is a format that helps the teacher deliver the classroom information to the students. The students are able to access their accounts from anywhere that has an internet connection. Teachers are able to make announcements, give homework, tests, show notes and presentations. This is to allow the student to access this information from school or home. Our school will be a 1:1 student: Ipad School next year (J. Shirk, personal communication, May 31, 2016). The distribution of information through technology is going to change next year. Students will be carrying Ipads with them throughout the school day. The distribution of Ipads is another problem that the school is going to have to overcome. The students will be receiving Ipads to use in each of their classes. Teachers will have a great source information at every students finger tips. Finding ways to use the device to deliver information to the students and have the students’ process and use that information correctly can be a challenge. Finding the correct applications that will fit into the classroom instruction is essential to the growth of use with the Ipads. Finding the benefits of using these ipads will crucial to the development of the classroom environment. The communication style between teachers and students is going to change and the styles in which the information is delivered to the students will change forever. Technology is going to be the gate way for communication and information process in the future of our school.
