The patient is a 90-year-old female who fell flat on her back while trying to clean a windows at home. Her medical history appears to be significant for recent TAVAR and also some past history of stenting. The history is somewhat unclear. The daughter relates that this is the patient's second fall within a month. Orthopedic consultation indicates that she has T4, T11, L3 and L4 compression fractures. T11 is definitely acute. The others could be superimposed on chronic degenerative changes. She is evaluated by physical therapy and without the brace the evaluation cannot be done. She will be fitted for a TLSO brace. Evidently the cardia procedure was rather recent and with the history of 2 recent falls I believe this patient warrants
