Though the similarities may not be obvious, trust is like a mailbox. Like a mailbox, which must be grounded in the firmest earth on a property, trust must built through consistent reliability and honest. Without this stable foundation, a mailbox is liable to topple with a slight nudge, just like trust can be lost when a lack of integrity begin to show. When a mailbox is complete, it serves as the place where important messages are safeguarded and received. Similarly, when trust has finally been built with someone, a person becomes the “go-to guy” for dependable advice and for confiding secrets.
