Definition Essay: The Influence Of Family Tradition On Christmas

For my family tradition on Christmas eve we go to my uncles and aunts house with my little cousins, we eat a little Christmas food like cookies, ham, turkey, and of course my favorite the gooey homemade pecan pie. After our bellies are full to the point where we can’t eat anymore, we open the presents wrapped and bought by our loved ones. Yeah we joke and have some arguments before christmas and everything, but at the end of the day we gather and share what god has given us, after that wonderful evening my mom and grandma get up early to start cooking around 6 or 7 in the morning to make the wonderful food that we will be blessed with. When they think they got a good start, they load up in the car and head to Pilot Grove to go get my great grandma from Katy Manor. That's the main thing I will look forward to because you got lights, artificial snow men, artificial reindeer and a bunch other christmas themed things. All you need next is the snow, after we eat, we open presents which are the best part of Christmas and the family. How thankful we are to have them still around with us because some of us their families sacrifice their lives to make us happy, thankful, and where we can celebrate christmas without having people coming over and bombing and everything else that they do to try and get what they want and they think they will but if more and more that we help the country then more we can, and longer we can celebrate Christmas more in the future. So there isn’t really anything different from my Christmas tradition than yours by that much if any.
