Trust is by far one of the most vital fundamentals in any relationship, rather it is a friendship, family, a business relationship, or a marriage. In relationships and marriages trust is the foundation that the relationship is built up around. Without trust any relationship is bound to fall apart, once trust is broken one may become suspicious of their partner’s behavior and get consumed by their insecurity leading up to a disastrous split. Cheating in a relationship is the most damaging decision a partner can make, it leaves the other feeling worthless and less valuable than the person their partner chooses to have an affair with. For example, when I was younger, my mother found out my father had an affair with a woman in Mexico on one of his trips to visit his family. Although they have stayed together for my sake, I have come to realize that they are miserable together and that their marriage has been over for several years now.
