What is honor? Some people think of it as a restrict to their thinking respectful behavior, being polite, and to having good manners. But is that all ? We can not explain the meaning of Honor in just one sentence or even two. We can look at the word honor in many different ways.

For example; after my mother died I admired my grandmother. I showed her respect because, she was always willing to take me in even though she was not financially stable. Honor and respect are both also used as admiration. Which means to show respect for someone or something, not because of who the person is but because the person deserves it. For example; As a show of respect I sacrificed my job at Wendy's, for my brother being that I was never home. When she passed I disliked everyone including my grandmother even though, that was the case she still took me in not because I was her granddaughter but because, my grandmother loved me. For days and months I did not let her into my life , whereas I did not tell her how I felt or how I was feeling at the time. I had too much hate inside. Everyday my grandmother tried to get me out of bed and she failed at it. Constantly I cried not being capable to even obtain food when I wanted. This began to become an obstacle a everyday thing. It took my grandmother a lot of patience and time for her to even get me to communicate with my family about how I felt. My grandmother believed she did not have a choice but to make me delighted.
