Freedom is the right to do as one wishes—to speak, worship, and generally act as you choose—yet it is more than just doing as you please. Freedom is a small word, yet its meaning is significant. My definition of freedom is giving every individual equal opportunity to become the person they wish to be. Freedom is one of the greatest rights given to Americans. The one thing in life I can always be proud of is being a citizen of the United States, the land of the free.

Freedom is not something to be taken for granted. Just by birth, I have multitudinous rights. As a young woman, I am still learning in school and participating in extra curricular activities. I am planning on pursuing a career after experiencing college. In another country,
