1 “We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment” (Jim Rohn). 2 With the exclusion of discipline, goals and priorities are hard to achieve because things can get chaotic when there is no order.3 Similarly to Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Cherry Creek High School has group leaders or captains who get to do most of the decision making, and an example of this is the Poms team. 4 The people in Poms have to obey the captain just as the choir boys “raised their hands with obedience” to vote Jack Merridew for chief ( 23). 5 It is also the Captain's responsibility to make sure that the group follows orders and cooperates. 6 The captain needs to make sure that “everyone isn’t talking
