Throughout the globe, men and females use diverse ways of language communication. Both sexes have a different way of communicating within their sex-separate peer groups or in their classroom setting. Deborah Tannen, a professor of linguistics at Georgetown University and the author of “How male and female students use language differently” informs that men students are more upfront and louder in classroom’s debates than female individuals who show more of a reserved personality. Although, Tannen has great main points such as the reason women have great friendships is the involvement of secrets, and men whom share the same activities have better connections, however I disagree in this opinion where every individual who speaks the most will be a successful individual. …show more content…
Females usually observe their classroom to see which individual will make a great connection towards their personality. While observing, female students will find a person which have the same abilities and capacities to do things similar in which later they turn a friendship into an unbreakable bond. Their bond immediately changes in the way they speak, look at each other, and the trust they have within themselves. Tannen states that “a girl has a best friend with whom she sits, and talks, frequently telling secrets. It’s the telling of secrets, the fact and the way they talk to each other that makes them best friends.” According to Tannen, female students usually make friends by sitting and talking to them but their relationship gets better when they gain trust within each other where they can confess their unforgettable secrets. While men make friendships with competitive activities in which has made a huge impact in males because that’s where they will interact and respond to new friends in a way they will understand each
