Dear Deer Phonic Lesson Analysis

Art is an integral part of their community. I am going to read the story Dear Deer which contain words and pictures (homophones). The pictures and words will be used to build the phonics lesson. This lesson supports Garner’s theory of verbal-linguistic.
For this phonic lesson, I am integrating the use of technology and art. We will be utilizing the Smartboard to identify each homophone found in the book Dear Deer. The students identify each homophone by the picture and explain the meaning of each homophone.
In this lesson, the students are being asked to identify homophones. The teacher will give the students the definition of homophones. . In order to determine if the students are able to identify homophones the show the student pictures
