Knights were the imperial military figure in Europe and samurai were the secondary military figure in japan. Although they sound different there are many similarities. Samurai had full loyalty to their lord just as the knights had to their own lords. The Knights had a code of honor called chivalry and the Samurai had a similar code called bushido. You can find a few differences in document D. For example in document D samurai armor was connected by silk or leather while the knights armor was connected by tiny metal rings. Or in Document D they explain how knights could break their contract with their lord at any given moment but samurai on the other hand could not do such a thing due to heredity.
