Day Before Thanksgiving

Improved Essays
Every year on Thanksgiving, before having a Thanksgiving. I have a friendsgiving with my family and my mom’s friends. I love this tradition because I get to be in a place full of people i love and in return love me. Annually, on the Monday before Thanksgiving, my mom and her friends get together to see who brings what. Usually, I am in charge of making mini pumpkin pie cupcakes and I also help make pies from scratch with my aunt. Usually on the Tuesday I go to the store with my mom and her friend. We get the supplies we need from walmart. We turn it into a girls day. Every Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, I usually make the dough and pie filling. The aroma the pie filling gives off is amazing. It make the whole house smell like cinnamon

Land of the Free As Patrick Henry said in 1775, “Give me liberty or give me death!” The founding fathers of our country gave it all so you and I could have freedom. What some people do not realize is that if the founding fathers had gotten caught or if we had lost the Revolutionary War, the founding fathers would have been hung for treason.
