In the end Alan received a sentenced to death and he escaped with the help of Davie. Davie then received his property back. On the other hand, in the movie they paid attention to every miniature detail in the book and even added some new events. The purpose of this is to point out how much more developed the movie's plot line was compared to the book. The movie was much better considering it had an extremely different and more well thought out plot line from the book.

If this had not happened then Davie would earn his belongings from his uncle and nothing would have happened. After this there was something that only happened in the movie that added more tension and action in the movie was having the ¨Low mile gang¨ introduced, they were the ones chasing Alan and Davie once they escaped the boat. The low mile gang were half the problem considering if they weren't there, then Alan and Davie would have made it to their destination with not a problem and would not have to rush. A extremely large part was when they escaped the boat by having an enormous fight Alan and Davie against the rest of the crew, this happened in both the movie and in the book. If this had not happened then Alan and Davie would not have been a ¨connection¨ between them. After that then they met someone named Catrina who helps them to their destination and even saved their lives a countless number of times. If there was no

The movie added many new things to the script that were not originally in the book. One thing they added was the addition of flashbacks. In the movie, the script writers gave George flashbacks of when his son Harrison was taken away, which was a feature not implemented in the story. Another feature they added into the…

Many books have been made into movies, and people tend to notice that the movies do not highlight certain details that the books do. In A Separate Peace, there were many differences between the book in the movie, like Gene’s visit to Devon, the character relationships, and the different perspective of the movie. Gene’s visit to Devon 15 years later is the first scene of the book. The movie started at the start of his summer session. Missing this scene of the book made it lose the feeling that Gene forgave himself for Finny’s death.…

Jaws A great plot escalating smoothly with 3 dynamic characters it is a grossing story that does a great job at hooking and keeping people interested until the end. Horror, Action/adventure, suspense, with a dash of comedy the genre of Jaws is very unique and contribute to the greatness of jaws. Although my first viewing of jaws was a great experience. I personally suggests anyone who has not seen jaws to see it, as it is an experience unmatched by most modern day movies. Jaws takes place in amity island where a humongous great white man-eating shark is terrorizing the people of this beach centered town.…

A book and a movie are so much more different than each other a book has more detail. The text was so much better than the video it is basically comparing a book to the movie made the book has much more detail. Why it is better is you can read your own pace and understand what you are reading than what you are hearing from someone else. It took me about One Hour showing that Al gore didn't describe anything or the story at all.…

The book and the movie had a plethora of things in common, but I found some differences in the movie and the book. The movie missed some key aspects from the book that made the book give the reader more sense of the characters and a better sense of emotion. Despite the differences, there were more things in common between the movie and the book rather than more differences like most books that turn into movies. However, whether if it was the book or the movie, I still ended up awfully sad and aggravated with everything in both the movie and the book. Contrasting from the book and the movie, the movie missed some key scenes from the book.…

Ironically due to the storyline; the book is better than the movie, because it is shows better description, character analysis, and it gets the point across to the reader to show what leads up to the main idea. While, the movie it is more vague and fast paced so it's hard to comprehend the storyline. The book is more illustrative than the movie. For example, the…

My last reason of why I prefer the book more is that, personally I just like how the author connected it with the movie, but in a certain way that made me like the book better. The Holocaust, was without a doubt one of the most tragic events in mankind 's history. Many books and movies have been able to tell the stories that took place during the holocaust but some writers like Elie Wiesel and Roberto Beninin are able to transcend into the the time and make us feel real emotions. These pieces of work descended us into a larger understanding of what the term “The Holocaust” really means. Elizer Wiesel’s memoir ‘Night’ revealed the what times were like before the tragedy and then. The memoir, describes in grave detail about Eliezer and his father 's struggle between sanity and insanity, and whether to give up or to keep going.…

In “The Landlady”, Billy Weaver is lured into a seemingly normal bed and breakfast by an old lady who, despite her gentle and unthreatening appearance, wants to kill him. It is a story about how those with cruel intent may take advantage of those who are innocent and naive. Although the book and the movie can be arguably similar if generalized, there are many differences that may change the way a reader/viewer may grasp the concept of the story. Since a movie and book cannot be exactly the same, the film version is bound to have things that differ from the text. One example of how the book develops the development of the story is with the setting.…

It seems an unfair view to expect a movie about a book to be exactly the same down to every single detail. Communities of fans will always find something wrong with a story, for it has “failed” to match expectation. Books are a place where someone can be dragged into the story and forget about everything else for a short while. Movies do the exact same thing, except it is seen as an easier way than books for a lot of people. Ignoring obvious differences (such as the fact that one is in picture form, and the other is in words), movies and books may not be so different after all.…
