Jeny continued lying there staring at Dakota when Dakota spoke aloud, “What a surprise it is to see you here.” Dakota reached her hand down and yanked Jeny up to her feet. Jeny was still in shock, not saying a word. When Dakota started talking Jeny jerked alert and back, creating a few feet of space between her and the older girl in front of her.

Jeny was forming a plan in her head when her attention was ripped away from the plans and the door, by Dakota calling her name and asking if she was ready. Jeny lead Dakota down the road a couple blocks and around the corner into the parking garage that had an access point onto the roof. The roof was the way she normally got back in, due to the fact she barricaded every door she could find on the third floor leading to the floors underneath.
Dakota crawled down the hatch first followed closely by Jeny. When both girls had their feet solid on the ground, Jeny lead Dakota to the opposite side of the floor, away from the archive room. On April 24th 1992, I met a woman at a hospital in Los Angeles. The woman was sweet, loving, and smelt like Dior Dune perfume. Once I was cleared by the doctors, the woman took me to her apartment. When we arrived, I heard kids laughing as they splashed each other in the pool, and saw a group of older guys wearing bright red t-shirts with red shoe laces. I watched for a minute, absorbing everything in like a sponge.…

The buildings address is 1806 25th street. Lainey, Ellis and I met at the building so we could take pictures for each other around 5:42 p.m. and there was no one in the parking lot except our own cars, but there was a bit of business due to people getting off work. The Courthouse is surrounded by various boutiques and a business that serves ice cream and coffee.…
