I heard this story before. It’s familiar yet so true.
There was a kid who wanted to be a writer. He’d read Hemingway, Poe, and Shakespeare because he looks up to them.
He wants to copy these stellar writers because he wants to create the next great novel that will set the world on.
The kid loves it when teachers ask students to write essays to see how much they learned. He knows that he’ll ace the test, no question about it.
Now, this kid is classmates with the smartest girl in school. She might’ve 250 IQ or something crazy like that.
But this girl hated the essay tests because this crummy, wannabe writer kid always beat her grades.

Title: The law of attraction is bullshit
Do you know about the law of attraction?
It’s this belief that good things will happen to people who wish hard for that good thing to happen to them. It’s a load of crap I know.
For example, if I believed in the law of attraction and I happen to want a mansion with a 100 rooms, a ferris wheel, and a small zoo in the backyard, I’d get all that if I believed and wished for it hard enough.
Yeah, that’ll never happen.
First, I don’t have the means to buy that mansion. Second, putting a zoo in your backyard without a license is highly illegal.
I don’t know about you, but wishing for something to happen then expecting it to happen is a little bit crazy. It’s also the height of laziness.
The law of attraction is very different from an abundance mindset. The second one is something that I adhere to.
The abundance mindset is not about wishing hard for something, it’s about working slowly to achieve a modest goal. This modest goal will lead you to another modest goal that will lead you to your ultimate
