The subject was a senior male, between the ages of 50 and 60, also Caucasian. Before doing this task, I felt empowered, overjoyed, this journey has really been touching to me. Children and Teen’s Kickboxing Tournament It was 6:00 pm on a Wednesday and the kickboxing tournament that featured a family friend’s son, a teenager that had been in MMA since he was 5, was starting in an hour. I was already mentally and physically drained from working a full day at the office and considered not even attending. I mentioned this to my sister, the mother of my beloved blue-eyed big-hearted niece Maliah, and she too was debating on whether or not to go. Then she said something that sort of caught me off guard - "You know, kickboxing is so violent.…

I chose to do my service learning at the John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation in Tulsa. The center is inside the Greenwood Cultural center in the heart of what was once “Black Wall Street” and works to end racism through the positive influence of art and culture. I chose the center because I am a firm believer in the statement “all men are created equal”. Color is just color, and should not define a man, woman, or child. Secondly, I chose the center because of a personal connection.…

Customer service goes hand to hand with the implications to cost because many customers would rate a store based on their price. For example, if a store, in this case, Wal-Mart offers items at a more expensive price than any other store the customer would more like never return to the store and/or provide a bad customer service feedback and this could be very costly.…

First reason been that I did not know where to start from or what to write about and the second been that how I was going to do this without coming across as weird and just sitting and observing seemed boring. Now, after the fact, it was interesting to see what I found. In doing this assignment, I have picked up on and known the things that I always witnessed, but I never really put it into a context.…
