There is an average of 22 students in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. In middle school and high school, the students vary and change every 45 minutes to an hour. Afterall students don’t ask their teachers to know everything about them but with the teachers seeing them everyday, the least they could do is remember a name. After all our country is about unity and at the end of the day we come together as one and we are all equal to each other. Therefore where you came from, you're background shouldn't matter. In a classroom the teacher treats and teaches every student the same. “Equity in education means that a personal or social circumstance such as gender, ethnic origin or family background, are not obstacles to achieving educational potential and that all individuals reach at least a basic minimum level of skills,” (Wikipedia Education-equity). This tibid of information notes that no background should change a students learning process, therefore a teacher taking a sensitivity training would be pointless. The student would not have a lack of education and the communication with the teacher wouldn't impact the students
