In the final act that she relies even though she wants to fix the world and people, it’s not as simple as it seems. She believes that she was wrong for seeing the world through the eyes of a child. But in reality most people look at the world the same way. It then takes a major event to change that point of view. This revelation also occurred to me. Part of my identity has always thought that I love my family and that they could not be someone I dislike. This is very childish, since no one gets to choose their family. It’s odd because the person in my life aren’t inherently bad, but they lack empathy for others and are narcissistic. So from when I was a child to now I see my grandfather differently even though it was not intentional. To put it briefly, having a strong family unit is a blessing even with the hardships, and I will never regret growing up the way I have. The hardships I have struggled are far smaller then what people without family have to go through. Having my family has helped shape me by giving me a sense of strength while also teaching me about some of life’s imperfections.
