NUR 3115: Foundations of caring in nursing situations

According to Roach, the Human Mode of Being involves the six C’s of caring. They include: compassion, competence, confidence, conscience, commitment and comportment. (Roach, 2002, pp). Without all of these characteristics, a nurse will be unable to properly care for a patient. I believe that each of these is just as important as the other.
