Many think that those silky, long curls that models have in the magazines are the model’s natural hair. In many cases, however, those styles are actually crochet extensions! Crochet is a popular, fast, and natural hairstyle, usually worn by African - American women. People wear crochet extensions for the length, fashion and body. Crochet braids are much faster than doing sew- in weaves and individuals braids! It is a protective, hairstyle, especially for delicate hair. In order for you to achieve this hairstyle first have the proper supplies, braid the cornrows and apply the extensions precisely. Moisturize the hair and scalp thoroughly, to prevent itchings, then braid the hair to the scalp. The cornrow pattern just important as attaching the extensions, so it will fall the proper way. Part the hair into small braids in the front, starting from the forehead to about the middle, so the edges will not look so spaced apart. Furthermore, this a pattern which you can have different kinds of parts and styles. Then, for the other half of the head, just braid the braids straight back, all the way down the head. Now that all the braids are going down the head, braid all of braids straight across as one braid going across the neck. If the hair is longer than desired, fold the hair in half and cut it the desired length. Next, the latch hook will be put to use! Open the latch of the hook, and slide the hook under the cornrow. Next, take the extension and fold it to the length of the pleasure. Loop the hair on the hook and securely close the latch. Now, slide the hair back beneath the cornrow. Remove the hook from the cornrow and take the index finger and the thumb to create an opening. Then, supply the ends of the extension through the opening twice. To make sure the hair is secure on the cornrow, separate the hair into two parts, pull both pieces the opposite way and tighten it. After it is tightened, the hair will be tied and secured in a knot. Finally, use the curling rods to curl the extension. Any rods will work, I will not recommend anyone to use flexi rods or sponge rods, because it collect too much water. Take the moisturizer and put it on the hair to make it easier to maintain. Next,the curling rod is used again. When using the curling rods, start by rolling from the bottom of the extension to the top. Make sure the extensions are rolled on the curler tight and close together, to get that glamorous look that wanted. Boil some hot water and wait until it is at an hot temperature. Then dip the rods in the water for approximately seven to ten seconds and get the towel to dry
