I can honestly say I have never really looked at Critical Thinking the way I see it now. Weak critical thinkers lack the ability to look at things from different points of view being true or not true. Strong critical thinkers have the ability to see things, and question every angle of their way of thinking, and come up with a theory or realistic view or stand point on that topic or discussion. The quality of critical thinking, I feel I am a strong critical thinking! My best quality is Intellectual courage: the willingness to face and fairly assess ideas, beliefs, or viewpoints to which they have not given a serious hearing, regardless of one's strong negative reactions to them.…

The appeal to nature and casual fallacies appear in conversations and in many forms of writing on a daily basis. Robert Todd Carroll has written two pieces, Becoming a Critical Thinker and Skeptics Dictionary, which explain what the two ideas are. In short, the appeal to nature is a claim that all things that are natural are good and all things unnatural are bad. A casual fallacy is a belief that because one thing happens something else occurs as a result. These two ideas are present in three different articles, Natural Foodie: Making the vegan switch proved to be a win-win-win, The Bad Seed: The Health Risks of Genetically Modified Corn, and Moms to EPA: Recall Monsanto’s Roundup.…

From mathematics to art, I immerse myself in time. A greater understanding of life and mind is the knowledge of a deep thinker, as am I.
