Number 562 my old identification number. It wasn’t long before we reached a small camp I wasn’t sure if we should enter but Abe said it was getting late and that we have to settle for the night. “Hey! You!” someone yelled from a small hut not even two hundred feet of the front entrance, “Can I help you!?” he yelled again, “sorry we just need a place to settle for the night, we’ll be on our way as soon as the sun rises” Abe replied to the man. The man walked up to Abe and got in his face then all of a sudden the man gave Abe a big hug and said, “Abe my old friend! Your welcome here any day!” Abe smiles a bit and chuckled I stood there stunned and slightly frightened at what just happened not sure how Abe knew this man or even who this man …show more content…
“A day” I mumbled to myself, “the day it all changed; the day we all united then followed the creation of the walls” I thought to myself looking down. Abe sat on the other end of the table, Henry sat to the left of Abe. “Shall we begin?” Henry asked holding out his hands one to me then one to Abe; I took his hand and closed my eyes as he said grace. I’m not much of a religious man I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself as they gave thanks to our meal. Abe got up from the table once we were done eating and walked over to me he seemed bothered somewhat frightened. “We need to talk” Abe said to me as he turned to walk outside I followed curious what bothered him so much. “Abe are you okay?” I asked him worried, “I’m fine boy but soon none of us will be” Abe looked down at the ground. He put his hand on my shoulder looked at me almost as if he was looking directly into my soul and said “you need to make your way to New Villa alone, I’ve gotten word that more bombs will be dropped but directly on New Villa to destroy the walls government and society”. I stood there shocked for a bit trying to understand why after so many years would more bombs be dropped, we did what they asked of us we joined together and worked with each other. I thought back to my past when my father told me of them and why they came here of all the stars; they came to help us but they bombed us leaving major countries a desolate wasteland aside from one small country “Turkey, why Turkey?” I asked myself in that
