After I found out that everything was a trick, I walked away, hurt, mad, and wanting revenge. I set off to run away from my humiliation, and for a better future. I wasn’t going to go back. Everything I had, owned, and treasured was back at that hell I once thought was heaven. I kept telling myself I wasn’t going to go back, I can’t go back, I had to. I went back, grabbed what I needed and left. I found a nice hotel to stay at until I found a proper job to support myself.
Everything was so different out in the real world. I had hardly left the castle I once lived at, and I never saw the suffering that everyone goes through outside the walls of the castle. There were beggars, houses made of leftover materials, and very few people to prevent this. I got a job, and what I did was study the stars every night, I would record what I would see and calculate how far it was from our planet. I got my own house and I was set for a while. About a year had past when I received a letter in the mail informing me that people were being hired to become a pirate. The amount of money they were paying was way more than my current job. We went to the island and what we saw will terrify me to this day, We saw a mix of alligator, giraffe, lion, ostrich, frog, cat, dog, and human thing. I don’t even know what it was, but we killed it. I'm miserable. I have not recorded anything for a time, despite making an attempt to avoid wasting what is left of my time in this wretched trench. Some nights back a cloudburst happened which left both sides basically fallen. As luck would have it did not hurt anyone but creating it very difficult to fight. Nowadays I think of these trenches as holding cells for prisoners, the site I am guaranteed to spend the remaining months of my life in until i am eventually exhausted and then we are killed like some pack of mice in laboratory experimentation.…

When I look around, all I see is the endless blue sea. Sorry, I couldn’t write a letter to you faster, but I could not write on the boat. On the boat, everyday it was the same thing all over and over. The blue sea stretched for over 100 billion miles in every direction, that was the only thing we saw and nothing else. The blatant smell of saltwater is all we could smell, together with the acrid taste of moldy bread is the only thing we tasted.…

It was over. The Empire had lost both their leader and strongest weapon, not to mention some of their finest troops. Sure, they still had Admirals spread throughout the galaxy, each probably with their own fleet, but without someone there to hold their hands and make sure they all got along, it was doubtful that they would be able to continue in a war. Years of the Rebellion's fighting, of losing allies and friends, had finally paid off.…

“Oh no!” Grace gasped in horror, realizing what had happened upon seeing the familiar shape and size of the wooden crate. “I saw those floating away from our boat earlier in the storm. We start in Montana, ‘The Big Sky Country’ a normal family of 4, and one loving father. “Wake up!” the father, Christopher boomed playfully. Even though his outside appearance is mean, gruff, and tough with his shady, black hair and his large impression, Christopher was the man of a thousand faces.…
