On Thursday, August 24, 2017 I got the experience to follow Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson’s Wound Care Team. During this experience, I was able to witness the removal of a wound VAC (vacuum assisted closure) and surgical stitches, different methods of wound monitoring and discussed the healing process. For new admissions, the Wound Care Team does a physical examination of the body, looking for any wounds, bruises, scars, tubes and IV placements. They take pictures, measurements and note the location of the wound. Since the hospital still uses paper charting, they handwrite all of their notes and upload them to the patients' medical chart when done with their assessment.…

I’m writing to you in response to your vacancy for the position of IT Security Specialist. I think that you’ll find that I am uniquely qualified with a broad set of skills. In 2014, I joined Renaissance RX as a help desk technician, but my eagerness to learn pushed me into several projects alongside security engineers where I helped to evaluate Palo Alto firewalls, Carbon Black whitelisting, and Dell encryption. I was also assigned to a project to deploy BMC Footprints Asset Core within our environment.…

The adoption of a mixed-methods approach was necessary to aid the interpretation of correlational findings from the initial stage of this research, which assessed WPV in terms of its consequences upon paramedics’ wellbeing; a qualitative exploration of the personal and occupational impact of perceptions of stress related problems and coping strategies used, was then integrated through focus group approaches. The theory of Perceived Control and Self-efficacy was incorporated as a guide to our theoretical framework. Predictability and control over a stressor is understood to reduce the risk of development of pathology; research suggests that when the onset of danger is unpredictable, contextual stimuli are more likely to be subsequently treated as predictors of aversive events, leading to generalized fear. Nonetheless, control over the aversive stimulus inhibits generalization…

This letter is to inform you of my resignation from my position as server at Dragonfly, effective April 25, 2016. Due to daily harassment from employees and management I am forced to put in my two weeks notice. I have endured as much as possible from the staff and brought the harassment to the attention of management many times. Since then it has become increasingly worse and nothing has been done, or even brought up in conversation by the incompetent and lazy management staff. I was told by Luis that he “would look into it” in a disrespectful tone, as if harassment was not a matter of concern, then proceeded to give me a blank stare as to suggest I should leave.…

I apologize for making it there so late, I had an impromptu meeting at 1035 with Kim and I left the store later than planned, my thought was that you’d still be interviewing when I arrived so please know that. I don’t want to be disrespectful of your time as I know that you are very busy. I was so glad to shadow Kyle yesterday, that went a long way to helping me better understand the ordering process as well as the scan gun issues.
