I reaction of the mock client in response to this posture was intriguing to this clients. As each person spoke, they providing eye contact to each person and allowed them to voice their concern. I observed that the client’s reaction to the gestures with hesitation. They seem as if they were a little reluctant to state what they are feeling. I see that Dr. Reicherzer’s leg was crossed and that can be a distraction to the clients. The counselor understood the client’s verbal message by listening attentively. I observed that the counselor obtained the problem presented in the clients, identified the key facts and establish the core emotional feelings. Her gestures was comforting and showed empathy.
