Poverty is one of the major issues that the world is facing, especially for 3rd world countries. It is stated in the article “Poverty” from the website Wikipedia that it is the inability to satisfy one’s basic needs and wants due to the lack of income to buy services or the lack of ability to access services. This would not be such an issue if the people do not let its causes to bring out the possibilities its causes has. These causes in the first place are just basic problems. Like, there are too many people in the world, few jobs, not enough food or not enough resources to supply the needs of the people. These problems may be basic but these basic causes are intractable and not easily eradicated.

An individual can get sick or suffer the consequences of having a poor hygiene if not practiced regularly. From the website Wash your hands an article entitled “Consequences of poor hand hygiene and the importance of hand washing”, states that some diseases that people may get are Campylobacter, Salmonella, MRSA, Flu, and Impetigo. Campylobacter is found in the gut of animal and causes of food poising and gastro-enteritis. Salmonella is a food poising that resulted from touching or eating contaminated foods. Blood poisoning, infections of the lungs, bones, or the heart valve are effects of MRSA (Meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), bacteria living in the nose or skin. Flu can cause too many symptoms such as chills, fever, and sore throat, headaches, coughing, and sneezing. It can be passed through air or by touching tainted surfaces. A common transmittable infection of the skin in children is the impetigo. It is easily transferred just by touching another person or other parts of the body. As indicated in the article “Diseases Caused by Poor Hygiene” with accordance to its website Daily Tips some diseases are caused by viruses, bacteria and parasites such as fungi and protozoa. These diseases are AIDS, Herpes, Warts, Yellow Fever, Common Cold, Chickenpox, Cold Sores, Influenza, Hepatitis, Dengue fever, Rabies, Polio, Mumps, Measles, Meningitis and for viruses. These articles indicate the consequences that an individual can get if proper hygiene is not practiced. One consequence is body odor that originates from poor bathroom habits. It is an unnecessary smell that comes from the body due to the interaction of sweat and bacteria. Bad Breath is triggered by foods that stuck on an individual’s teeth that rot eventually, which produces a filthy odor. It is furthermore developed by not brushing and flossing the teeth. This consequence may eventually lead to dental disease. Depression is another effect of poor hygiene. It lowers an individual’s self-confidence and self-esteem that sooner or later giving them the feeling of being no good that would lead them to change who really they are.
