Most religions share at least some similarities. Confucianism and Daoism heavily influence each other as they originated around the same time in china, 550 B.C.E. In both religions there is no god or angels present. They both participate in worship at shrines and temples. In both religions they focus on more of the present and being fulfilled rather than an after life. Both religions teach about living a well balance life and fulfilling your role with compassion, honor and respect. As a result, violence, theft, and abuse are not tolerated. Confucius’s idea main focus is about living in the present is about social acceptance and doing to others what you want done to you, bottom line living in harmony with society and people. Confucius
