There are many situations where intense conflict can arise in one’s life. It can have a major impact on everyday activities and how someone lives. Anne Frank is just one example of how a harsh dilemma can be hard to control. She wrote, “Hiding… where would we hide? In the city? In the country? In a house? In a shack? When, where, how…? These were questions I wasn’t allowed to ask, but they still kept running through my mind,” (Frank 373). Hiding in a secret annex with her family and peers, she did not have much freedom due to her religion at the time. It took a toll on her thoughts and feelings about where she would be next. Conflict can also arise in a working or learning environment.
