Specifically, Moby Max initially assesses students through diagnostic placement tests, and determines the grade level at which they currently work. Common Core Standards learning gaps are detected and addressed through engaging instructional opportunities. According to research, students gain one full grade level after spending only twenty hours with Moby Max. Furthermore, students who have spent seventy hours or more, gain at least two full grade levels (Walsh, 2013). Interestingly, students who use Moby Max one hour per day are capable of mastering 2.32 grade levels of content in a single school year. On average, our data is not indicative of this amount of growth, especially our RTI students. Table 1-A and Table 2-B indicate the potential growth that Richard B. Cartmell could experience.
