One main consideration is that a large number of cheer squads compete against each other. Like other team sports, scores are kept, and champions are crowned. Routines are thoroughly taught, practiced, corrected, and after much work perfected. Cheerleading, comparing it to the definition of a sport, should be qualified as it does meet the requirements that the definition clearly
