The Ewoks are much smaller compared to the avatar. The Ewoks use spears, bows, slings, and knives as weapons. They use hang gliders to navigate to places just as how the Na’vi had used the mountain banshee. They were quick learners especially when they took over the robot with the machine guns that were attacking their friends. The Ewoks also helped against technology from overtaking the world and diminishing it. The Ewoks had helped Princess Leia and Han Solo by destroying the shield generator. The Ewoks have their own native tongue the Ewokese and no other person can speak this other than C-3PO. They are also very religious especially when they had a ritual to make Han Solo and Luke Skywalker their dinner. The Ewoks thought that C-3PO was their god and they treated him lots of respect and listened to him to let go of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. They also had a sacred tree, the Great Tree, which they thought were the descendants just as Na’vi. They still did primitive acts such as hunt for foods, herbs, and berries. Their house was made in a tree trunk and there lived families of the chief. Both had a running head of the clan that would guide them. They also had festival and rituals such as when they were celebrating after destroying the Death Star II. They used the helmets of the troops to make sounds. They’re considered to be in their natural state and would characterize as indigenous. They were implied as those who are uncivilized, savagery, and lacking a natural condition. Native people were considered as those who undermine their history and culture which is said by Hobbes and Rousseau. The Na’vi and Ewoks do not undermine their culture yet they bring it out with more richness. They have their own language in which they communicate with each other and have their own religious acts. Their culture does define who they are but not as those who do not know how to act around others. Their understanding of their culture is just another way of them knowing something that most humans who consider themselves as cultured
