PC versus Mac is a battle that has been raging on for decades. PC users drone in about accessibility and performance, while Mac users ramble about design decisions and modernism. Which one is truly better? The answer will vary from person to person, but there are quite a few differences between these two technological leaders. Mac has always been highlighted by design students and video editors. It’s true, Macs preinstalled software is leagues ahead of Microsoft and their partners. Currently, the cheapest new MacBook laptop is currently 1299$ which is quite a high price, while something similar to it, say the new dell XPS 13 ultrabook, with similar specs, is starting at 799$. Mac’s price point has always been higher than PC’s, but paying more just for the brand is ludicrous. While the Macbook may be perfect for some people, others who only use their laptop for school work or browsing the internet should not have to pay so much for a new laptop. Being able to buy a computer is a major advantage for Microsoft systems, and is helping them remain a leader throughout all the technological turmoil Design is another big selling point for any kind of technology these days. Macs slim all in one desktop computers are very popular, and look much neater than the bulky computer towers often used by Windows machines today. Even though mac machines look sleeker, there is not much variety to them. They are only made by one company, and only sold in one store, the Apple store. Microsoft however, have multiple brands creating machines for them such as dell, Lenovo, and ASUS.
