Comparison Between HPS And LED Hibay Lights

Improved Essays
HPS and LED hibay lights are not actually the same as some people may think of. Their differences come in performance. The following are some of the comparisons between these two hibay lights. They include the following.

Life comparison
LED hibay is basically a semiconductor diode and its source theory of life is very long. The principle of this hibay is to meet within the required temperature range section, L70 light fades standards. However, the entire life of the lamp light source is not very easy since lighting also includes a lens of the affected parts. Therefore, at the end of life, the lamp should have all the parts of the lamp. If flux attenuates to 30 percent, the life expectancy will be 50,000 hours while that of the metal halide

It has a color rendering index of 80 to 93. On the traditional high pressure sodium lamp, the color temperature is about 2000 to 2500 kelvins with a color rendering index of about 20 to 30. By the above comparison, it is seen that the results include low pressure sodium lamp color rendering index, the color of the object itself, color difference, reducing the difference as well as the depth of the surrounding environment is not very conducive to judge. The LED hibay color rendering index is very good and thus the actual color of the object can be restored easily despite being white cool. In the case of HPS, the color is relatively close to the natural light. The luminous efficiency of the LED is slightly better than that of sodium. This is because it has the development of the LED technology and thus the light efficiency is highly …show more content…
HPS is the entire space luminous light and thus you need a half-space of the light changes direction towards the other half of the space. There is no loss in the use of the LED lamp as the light source. Currently, the LEDs are at 80 to 110 lumens per watt while the high pressure sodium lamp may reach to 140 lumens per watt. The HPS spectrum is relatively concentrated in yellow and the color temperature is 2000 to 2500 kelvins through and strong and fog.

Comparison on environmental protection and energy saving
The LED hibay lights are energy efficient and they have ultra low power consumption. The energy white LED is only a tenth and a quarter in an energy saving incandescent lamp. The LED light source does not have any harmful metallic mercury. The high pressure sodium lamp light source metal containing mercury, sodium metal and subsequent waste disposal on the environment are pollution. There is also LEDs shock resistance and also convenient transportation. There is also solid package and therefore it is very easy to transport and install.

Fluorescent light is created by an electric current running through types of stable gas, which in turn produces short wave ultraviolet light, or fluorescent light. LED lights are a more focused way of producing light, instead…

I, personally, like to sleep; in order to sleep, I need a quiet, dark place. Natural darkness has been in the line of fire for a while, suggests Paul Bogard, and in his article “Let There Be Dark,” he wields imagery and rhetorical appeals as weapons to build his argument that natural darkness should be preserved. Bogard immediately pulls the reader in with powerful imagery describing a wholesome anecdote about spending time at his family’s lake cabin. He conjures up an image of the Minnesota “night skies” with “sugary spreads of stars” behind “smoky trails” left from meteors, which gives the reader a clear view of the setting of the scene. Later, when discussing nature’s need for natural darkness, Bogard states, “ecological light pollution is like the bulldozer of the night, wrecking habitat and disrupting ecosystems,” creating a disturbing image that moves the reader.…

Surprisingly the actinic bulbs provide different coloration under the blue light than under the white light (Hayes 24), because the color you see of the fish is greatly impacted by the light used in the aquarium. “Warm” lights enhance the color of red and yellow fish, whereas the “cooler” lights give the fish a much more pale appearance (Hayes 22). The choice between the two main types of lighting and the wattage of the bulb used should be dependent on the size of the tank, and the types of coral they include. For example, fluorescent is really only suitable for tanks up to eighteen inches deep, and metal-halide is essential for deeper reef aquariums.…

The Bauhaus Lamp also has a certain status that it grants to the owner of the lamp. This status is one sophistication and of…
