The concern of greed is a large symbol within the film, it occurs within every single character at different points in the movie. The characters where greed is present can include Chihiro wanting the attention of her parents, the parents whose greed leads them to get turned into pigs, the bathhouse workers desperate to receive Gold from No Face and Haku who is greedy to have equal power to Yubaba’s. Everyone is somewhat greedy, but Yubaba is the greediest of all. Her greed for power and wealth is what leads her to serve those who cause destruction like No Face.
