Comparing The Sonata No. 5 In F Major, Opus 24, Spring Of Beethoven

YuEun Kim and Sung Chan were successful when they perform “The Sonata No.5 in F major, Opus 24, Spring” of Beethoven. This piece of music started with soft dynamic at first that made me feel calm and peaceful. The tempo was slow at the beginning, and then the piano suddenly came with the fast tempo while the violin was slow. Sung Chan who played the piano gave an impressive performance at the first movement. The scale had changed from minor to major, and major to minor that made the audience changed in mood. The violin and piano in this piece had already given a lot of mixed feelings. Both the piano and violin had played solo at last movement. Also, the tempo and dynamic of this piece changed and repeated that was really excited for the audience. Before this piece was ended, the piano and violin play fast and loud. This piece started with a soft dynamic. The tempo was slow, and the pitch was low that gave me relaxing and sleeping at the beginning of this piece. It was very smooth. The scale was minor, so it made me feel like this piece was telling a sad love story. It gave me a different mood than I heard “The Sonata No.5 in F major, Opus 24, Spring” of Beethoven. The piece started to get excited in the middle of the piece. The scale had changed to major, so the tempo changed to Accelerando especially in the piano. Then, it came back to minor, and the violin played slowly and the piano played fast in the tempo. The dynamic changed from pianissimo to forte.
