Although this never happens, the author displays how Ender is already a very forgiving person. In many cases where things may seem that Ender does something that is mean, he only does what is needed to handle a situation before it gets out of control. In the first chapter when Ender is being bullied by Stilson and his friends, he severely injures Stilson for bullying him. In order to protect himself from being bullied again, he stood up for himself and shows that he will not take being belittled. He is seen to only stand up for the person he is when he forced to, this means fending and protecting himself without reliance on anybody else. After ender’s fight with Stilson, he cries while he is waiting for the bus, showing how he did not want to use violence, but had to as a last resort. Another difference would be how Lock and Demosthenes were not mentioned at all in the movie, yet had a huge role in the book, and the final would be the endings for both the movie and book as well as Enders reaction to what’s going on in the end. These three reasons show how the movie is very different from the book.…
