Romeo and Juliet: love or hate in romeo and juliet we are trying to determine if love is stronger than hate or if hate is stronger than love. there is plenty of evidence in shakespeare's play to support both sides of the argument. i will be writing about why i believe love is stronger than hate in this play. i believe love is stronger than hate because romeo and juliet are able to love each other even though there families have a bitter hatred towards each other. love is stronger than hate because this whole play is about love and the struggle to achieve the freedom to love each other. some evidence that love is stronger than hate is the fact that romeo and juliet love each other the second they lay eyes on each other. another piece of evidence
