Jack, Ralph, Piggy, Simon and Samneric were all children "I could swim when I was five. Daddy taught me. He's a commander in the Navy. When he gets leave he'll come and rescue us. What's your father?" (1). While the characters in Macbeth were adults with wives and children. Macbeth’s actions in the story prove that his evil was of its purest form. Meanwhile Jack and the rest of the boys were just young children who were left in a stranded island far away from civilization. Jack only killed to consolidate his powers while Macbeth killed anyone who posed a threat in his mind. Lastly the two stories had different endings. In the end Macbeth was killed for his treacherous deeds and Jack and the rest of the boys were saved by a naval officer. All in all, Jack was great in root while Macbeth was underhanded and
