Never less the difference between Charley and Henry were limited, yet the mutates of the characters showed that they were not the equivalent person. They had come from different states, Charley was a farm boy from Winona, Minnesota and Henry was from New York. During battle Charley stayed and fought it out, Henry fled, then he eventually overcame his fears and came back around. Charley did not have a genuine uniform, it was more of just what they could find, such as a droopy cheap hat, and pants that were petite and they were very short. Henry guaranteed to have a complete uniform with everything he needed and his uniform fit systematically. These modifications were thought-provoking because it is interesting how closely related Charley and Henry were.

The transformations were interesting, such as them being from diverse states and Charley’s uniform being too small but Henry’s uniform fitting well. Charley’s and Henry’s comparisons showed that they had integrity, they had both volunteered to fight and had been injured. Also, the correspondences were unique to know, Charley and Henry are from the North and were still young when they enlisted, also them thinking of their mothers desperately. Overall, Soldier’s Heart and The Red Badge of Courage were thoroughly enjoyable despite the differences and
