The River Valley civilizations are Ancient Egypt, China, Sumer, and the Indus River Valley. They are alike, but there are differences. I will be comparing the government, writing and social structure of the four civilizations. The structures of civilizations reflect the government’s choices; if the women had power then they would be able to take a high ranked position or even lead. The four governments had some similar ideas and some different ideas. In all four civilizations the rule was only one ruler at a time. The titles of rulers were kings, emperors, and pharaohs.
