Richard Peck’s short story, “Priscilla and The Wimps,” includes descriptive/visualizing terms. The narrator isn’t present (more like a bystander witnessing the act). This is known as third person omniscient point of view. The author uses many diverse elements of humor and irony. The story begins by introducing the reader to, a gang who, refer to themselves as Klutters Kobras. The gang is led by a guy named Monk Clutter. Everyone in school is frightened by the Klutters Kobras gang. Malala’s father (taught at a school) had the same beliefs as his daughter. He encouraged her to keep reading and writing. On october 9,2012, Malala was shot, and nearly died. Malala’s miraculous recovery has taken her on an adventurous journey. At the age of 16, Malala became the youngest female ever, to receive a nobel peace prize. She represents a symbol of peaceful protest.
